About Gerda Strydom

Gerda Strydom is the visionary and presiding apostle of Matheteuo Global Ministries, a network of unique simple churches with a vision to disciple nations and prepare believers for the work of the ministry.

After a radical born-again experience at the age of 12 years, Gerda was consumed with a burning desire to serve in the Kingdom of God.  In 1999, she graduated from Rhema Bible Training Centre with a mission to reach out to previously disadvantaged communities with the Gospel of Christ.  In 2005, this mission prepared the way for her to live and serve amongst the predominantly Indian community in Durban.

It was by divine intervention and because of her deep love for the Word of God that she was exposed to the current Apostolic season.  In 2008, she finally left the corporate environment to devote herself completely to the Father’s Business.  Gerda is the author of Discipleship Coordinates, a tool that is used locally and globally, to transition and align churches to the present apostolic reformation.

Gerda is part of the presbytery and executive Bishopric of ABC Ministries.  She functions an Apostolic Bishop Consultant under the spiritual oversight of Dr SY Govender.   She is also part of the faculty of ABC (Accurate Building Concepts) and assist with the development of apostolic resources. She hosts Apostolic Schools for further training and development.  Gerda is passionate about the nations and travels abroad frequently to represent Christ and deliver the gospel of the Kingdom.

Gerda is also serving the community by spearheading and implementing sustainable environmental projects in the fight against climate change.  As Chief Editor of Safe Cities Forum, a non-profit environmental media and publishing company, she develops strong relationships with municipalities, government entities and businesses as a tool to effectively manage God’s creation while bringing Heaven to Earth!
