What We Believe<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Matheteuo Global Ministries is committed to upholding and safeguarding the essential doctrines of the Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.  This statement serves as a foundational guide for doctrinal purity, ethical governance, and ecclesiastical accountability, ensuring that all affiliated leaders, churches, and ministries remain faithful to biblical truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Amplification:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The Holy Scriptures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.  It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct, and governance. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. The Triune God<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We believe in one true God, eternally existent in three persons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • God the Father, the Creator and Sustainer of all things.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • God the Son, Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as the atoning sacrifice for sin, was resurrected bodily, and will return in glory.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • God the Holy Spirit, who indwells, empowers, and sanctifies believers for holy living and ministry.  We affirm the deity of the Holy Spirit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      3. The Incarnation of Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, took on human flesh through the virgin birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • He was fully God and fully man in one person. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • He lived a perfectly righteous life, fulfilling the Law on our behalf.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • His incarnation was necessary for our salvation, as only a perfect mediator could reconcile God and man.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • John 1:14; Matthew 1:23; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 2:14-17.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        4. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        We affirm the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day, which guarantees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • Victory over sin and death.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Justification for believers through His triumph.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The future resurrection of all who are in Christ.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, 20-22; Romans 4:25; Luke 24:39-43.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          5.<\/strong> Soteriology (Salvation) \u2013 Reformed Perspective<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone.  It is a work of God\u2019s sovereign grace, not human effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Man is born dead in sin, unable to seek God apart from divine grace (Romans 3:10-12; Ephesians 2:1-3).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • God chose His elect before the foundation of the world, not based on foreseen faith but His sovereign will (Ephesians 1:4-5; Romans 9:11-16).<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Christ\u2019s death was sufficient for all but effective only for the elect (John 10:11, 14-15; Matthew 1:21).The Holy Spirit draws the elect to salvation in an effectual manner (John 6:37,44; Acts 13:48).<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • True believers will endure in faith until the end, kept by God\u2019s power (Philippians 1:6; John 10:27-29; 1 Peter 1:3-5).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            We reject any teaching that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • Denies substitutionary atonement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Teaches salvation by human effort or free will alone.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Promotes universalism (all will be saved).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              6.<\/strong> The Doctrine of the Church<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, comprised of all true believers.  The Church is called to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Preach the Gospel to all nations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Teach sound doctrine and disciple believers.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Maintain holiness and accountability within the Body.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Exercise spiritual authority under the guidance of Scripture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Ephesians 4:11-16; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:42-47).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                7. The Offices of the Church<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                We believe in the biblical offices of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the equipping of the saints.  Additionally, we affirm the roles of bishops, elders, and deacons as leaders of local churches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                8. Accountability and Discipline in Ministry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                The ministry upholds biblical discipline for pastors and leaders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                • Ministers guilty of moral failure will undergo biblical restoration or removal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Churches should not tolerate false teaching or unrepentant sin in leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Pastors who exploit or manipulate their congregations will be confronted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Matthew 18:15-17; 1 Timothy 5:20; Galatians 6:1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  9. The Second Coming of Christ<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  We believe in the literal, physical return of Jesus Christ.  He will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    \n
                  • Judge the living and the dead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Establish His Kingdom in righteousness.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Reward the faithful and bring eternal justice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Matthew 24:30-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12-13.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                    10. Christian Unity and Interdenominational Cooperation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                    We affirm that all true believers, regardless of denomination, are one in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    • We partner and work with biblically sound churches for the Gospel\u2019s advancement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • We reject sectarianism and spiritual elitism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • John 17:20-23; Ephesians 4:3-6; Romans 12:4-5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
