Reasons for Failure – Part <\/strong>5<\/p>\n<\/div>

Failure does not give believers the reason to give up.  On the contrary, it provokes us  to keep going.  I pray that your commitment to evaluate your own growth in Christ will set you on the trajectory to great success in your heavenly assignment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inaccurate shift<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the reasons for a complete termination of your assignment in Christ could be an inaccurate<\/em> migration.  It is possible that you have disregarded your initial shift into an accurate position in Christ.  This misposition is equal to missing the mark and sin in God\u2019s eyes.  The consequences for shifting out of an accurate position is far more severe than being in the wrong position at first!  Jesus says that such a person is not fit for the Kingdom! (Luke 9:62).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We often don\u2019t understand why things did not turn out the way we imagined, and when it doesn\u2019t go our way we choose to turn away.  The disciples went back to fishing \u2013 their former occupation before they were called by Jesus.  Although experts in the industry they could no longer get a catch without grace.  It is impossible to move backwards.  Once you have tasted and return to the old position you will not make it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lot migrated to the fertile plains of Jordan, near Sodom, without concern for its wickedness. Although his soul was troubled by the sin around him, his wealth was eventually destroyed, and his vision of righteousness faded.  His actions led to incest, resulting in the birth of the Ammonites and Moabites, who later practiced child sacrifice\u2014symbolising the destructive consequences for the next generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Elimelech left Bethlehem (meaning “House of Bread”), a place of divine provision and revelation, to settle in Moab, a land associated with iniquity, he died and his initial vision of prosperity was unfulfilled.  When someone turns away from the source of divine nourishment and apostolic leadership they risk their vision and purpose being abandoned.  This inaccurate shift was also fatal for his sons.  When fathers turn away from grace, their sons are implicated!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An inaccurate shift is not necessarily a physical shift.  You can still be in an apostolic house but shift away mentally.  In ministry, we often encounter spiritual sons who make mental shifts.   This is called \u201cdissension\u201d and \u201csedition\u201d.  The Greek word is dichostasia<\/em>, which means to stand apart.  When you stand apart or shift away from grace you have made an inaccurate turn and it may cost you greatly.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demas turned away from Paul (2 Timothy 4:10).  This was not innocent, he stepped away from grace.  Do not loose heart when your destiny doesn\u2019t unfold as you thought.  Remain and be steadfast! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. -Galatians 6:9<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
